2022 – 2023 School Board

Central Valley Christian Schools is parent-run. Four Reformed doctrinal churches provide the 10-member school board. Additionally, the student body represents over 50 local church bodies. Our school is designed to assist in the education of the children of Christian parents. Therefore, we believe heavily in the concept of connection between home, church, and school.

The board and staff are committed to our mission statement below.

At Central Valley Christian Schools, we equip and inspire hearts and minds to transform the world for Christ.

To summarize, we are enthusiastically devoted to Reformed Christian education. This means that the school realizes that to prepare a child only for the working world would be a failure. Central Valley Christian School works to prepare a child to be ready for eternity by having an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and realizing that Christians are to be in the world but not of the world. (Mark 16:15; John 15:19, 17:14-18; Romans 12:2).

School Board Visitors

School board meetings typically are held on the last Monday of the month. The meetings take place in the high school library, begin at 7:00PM, and are open to the public. Correspondence to the board can be sent to either the board president or the Superintendent and should be received at least one week in advance of the board meeting in order to be included in the board packet. CVC Society members who wish to address the trustees at a board meeting must contact the board president or board secretary in advance of the meeting to receive permission. The topic(s) for such presentation must be disclosed and if granted, the person(s) will have a maximum of two minutes in which to address the board.

Board meeting agendas are available upon request for guests who are present.
