In 2006, I graduated from CVCHS and transplanted to Chicagoland to attend Trinity Christian College, where I obtained a Bachelor’s in English (and minored in music)! In fact, I met my husband, Aaron, in choir there. I went on to work in a variety of settings ranging from childcare to office management, and also obtained a certificate in Manuscript Editing from the University of Chicago. After a few too many winters, I came back to the Central Valley with my Chicagoan husband, determined to find careers that suited our callings—I went to work in media and public relations for Tulare’s International Agri-Center (home of the “farm show”).
I am ecstatic to be back at CVC on the other side of the equation! While attending CVC, I appreciated the activities and opportunities afforded students; now as a staff member, I am astounded by the amount of growth that CVC is experiencing—from new buildings to new programs and technological advancements. God is faithful!
In case you were interested, my favorite things include: black coffee, my son Charlie’s squealing laugh and the smell of fresh cut grass.
But enough about me—I’m here to tell CVC’s story!
