Job postings for the 2024-2025 school year
Superintendent
Central Valley Christian Schools (CVC) is a Society-controlled Christian school founded on and functioning in the Reformed faith tradition. In 1979, a group of parents and grandparents decided to form a Christian School in Visalia, California, for the purpose of providing a biblically-based, Christ-centered educational program for their children and grandchildren. Over the past 44 years, with a mission to equip and inspire hearts and minds to transform the world for Christ, CVC has grown to become the 8th largest school system in the Christian Schools International (CSI) network of schools. Currently, CVC enrolls just over 1,200 students in grades PK-12, with programs, staff, and faculty to support a broad range of student abilities. CVC uses a covenantal model of admissions wherein we partner with Christian parents who are committed to supporting our mission while also being actively involved in their local church congregation. CVC has four Reformed foundational churches, from which board members are elected, but also has over 80 different church congregations from several different denominations represented in the Society. The incoming Superintendent of CVC will serve as the chief executive officer at the school and work closely with the school board while leading a staff of 125 employees. We invite you to view the Opportunity Profile at cvc.org/opportunity-profile and prayerfully consider submitting an application. Questions and inquiries can be directed to Jodi Schotanus, CVC Search Team Chair, at supersearch@cvc.org.
