Central Valley Christian To Celebrate 30th High School Graduation!

Graduation ceremonies will be held for Central Valley Christian High School’s graduating class on Saturday, May 21 at 10:00 a.m. in the CVC chapel. At the ceremony, the selected speaker, CVC High School principal Greg Wojczynski, will encourage students to do their best for God and live a Godly life (based on 2 Timothy 2:15) while outlining 30 quick tips for life beyond CVC.

Of the graduating class, Wojczynski said, “They’re a fun and energetic class, and are a great example of what we expect from CVC graduates. I’ll truly miss them—especially their character, integrity and spunk.”

Of the 62 seniors, two students were awarded the title of co-valedictorian: Shani Slabber and Bailey Gong. Sara Valceschini was named 2016 salutatorian.

During the annual Senior Awards Chapel on Monday, May 10, multiple students were recognized for their outstanding work in different departments, including art, math, Spanish and more. Also during this chapel, scholarships were awarded to students from many different organizations and California Scholastic Federation Lifetime Members were recognized.

-62 students
-95% of graduates are pursuing higher education
-CVC’s college-bound students of 2016 have been awarded $428,113 in scholarships or grants for their freshman year.
-Nearly half of the Class of 2016 are CSF Lifetime Members.
